The general aims of SWICE are:
* To promote continuous education and training for embryologists/technicians
* To establish guidelines for laboratories involved in human ART
* To organise external quality controls (EQC)
* To exchange information between embryologists and between embryologists and clinicians
* To act as laboratory experts of human ART for the patients, and for third parties, such as the general public, the media, and the politicians.
Les buts de SWICE sont les suivants:
* Promouvoir la formation continue des embryologistes et techniciens/ciennes
* Etablir des directives pour les laboratoires impliqués dans la procréation médicalement
assistée
* Organiser des Contrôles de Qualité Externe (CQE)
* Favoriser les échanges entre les embryologistes eux-mêmes et entre les embryologistes et les médecins
* Fonctionner comme experts de laboratoire en procréation médicalement assistée envers
les patients, le grand public, les médias et les instances politiques.
